You can learn a lot about somebody from what they do when nobody’s watching.

A Houston attorney recently stayed with us, got home, realized his room key had accidentally made the trip with him… and mailed it back with a handwritten note.

No drama. No excuse. Just:

“This isn’t mine. Let me make it right.”

We laughed a little when it showed up.

Then we appreciated it.

Because hospitality is built on trust… and every once in a while, a guest reminds you that trust goes both ways.

Here’s to the people who still do the right thing when it would be really easy not to.

And if you’ve ever accidentally taken a room key home…this is your sign. 😂
