The Waseca County Facilities Department is applying for a grant to bring exciting improvements to Courthouse Park — including a brand-new playground!

This new, inclusive playground will offer a fun and engaging space for children of all abilities, encourage family interaction, and enhance the park experience for generations to come. It will replace the existing playground and be thoughtfully located within view of the new pavilion, ensuring a safer and more convenient play area without the need to cross the parking lot.

Hello all,
The Waseca County Facilities Department is applying for a Grant to Improve our Courthouse Park with a New Playground structure. The playground will provide an inclusive, engaging, and well-balanced recreation environment that supports diverse abilities, encourages family interaction, and enhances the quality of the parks setting not only for the current generations but for the generations to come. This new playground will replace the older playground and be put in an area located so it is in line of site of the new pavilion so kids do not need to run across the parking lot.

The ski trails have been groomed again after the last snow and blowing.
