One of the most bittersweet parts of a queen’s reign is preparing her farewell.
The speech gets written. The music gets chosen. And then comes the hard part, going back through a year’s worth of memories.
Right now, there are nearly 10,000 photos in the shared album between our queens and the IUM family from this year alone. With an entire week of Internationals still ahead of us, this class has already set a new IUM record.
As we start collecting photos for farewell videos, we’re reminded of something every single year.
The photos that mean the most usually aren’t the ones that make it to Instagram.
They’re the blurry selfies.
The silly behind-the-scenes photos.
The screenshots from FaceTimes.
The late-night conversations.
The random picture someone snapped right before everyone burst out laughing.
The moments nobody planned for.
The moments nobody thought were “the” important moment at the time.
Just girls becoming sisters.
People see the travel.
The gifts.
The matching outfits.
The prize package.
And trust us, we love every bit of it. We love creating experiences and spoiling our queens.
But when our girls look back on their year, they rarely just talk about what they received.
They talk about who was standing beside them when they received it.
Because long after the crowns are passed down and the suitcases are unpacked, this is what remains.
The family. 🤍
