We hosted some buddies and got a good day on the river with who put us on some fish. That’s my buddy that caught the hog. Matt Mitchell kept it light all day. I had a few on and landed a couple small ones, but the prize goes to my pal!

Pretty epic Fall day in Weaverville today! We finally got to burning the springtime remnants of the firebreak clearing we did in the Spring with some 16 year old helpers. Great fire in beautiful weather and an epic sunset.

Things are looking great in the park! The grass is bright green and lush, the apple trees still have a bit of fruit, the leaves are changing, and the buildings all got some fresh paint for the Fall! I played a quick 9 holes, bowled at the recently reopened Trinity Lanes, and had some delicious ribs straight out of the smoker I just love spending time in Weaverville and am stoked to be a part of

We built a nice little covered community hangout area complete with charcoal and propane grills and a lovely water misting cooling system. Beat the heat in the shade and come for a short or long stay up at the park!

It’s summertime in Trinity County! Stop in for a stay and come by the office for directions to a killer swimming hole!

Winter Wonderland up here at the park! Perhaps the last snow for the year? Full lakes, river and streams so good time to book a spot!

Repurposing the picnic table frames, getting the bunkhouse rolling and continuing to clear the hillside above the park of saplings and undergrowth. Great weekend of work and fun up at the campground!
