Colors are a bit past peak but still beautiful.
I had the privilege of joining the team at Whitefish Point (friends of whitefish point) for a owl banding. It was super awesome.
I was even blessed to hold one. One of the neatest experiences of my life. Made my eyes leak a bit.
They didn't allow pictures of that though😌.

Good Monday from the . is coming.
We have had upper 30's and lower 40's at night pretty consistently. Haven't seen 70° in about a week. Hummingbirds left 2 weeks ago, other then one straggler.
We may have to shut the water down to the cabin early this year🤔

I've never been a fan of reality shows, but there is truth to when you're doing something off grid....everything does take wayyy longer and something always goes wrong. What could normally take possibly a day or two takes a week or two here 😴.
