Okay, So listen, I think I was always meant to have a bougie bath and body shop. I see the skeptical looks from people who know me, just hear me out. When I was a kid,(say 7 to 13) and would go to the mall with my mom I had 3 places I had to visit. B Dalton Books, the pet store and Crabtree and Evelyn. If you don’t know, that was THEE original bougie bath and body shop. My brothers called it the old lady store because it was full of “stinky” soap but I loved it. Luxury soaps an creams and bubble bath. That store has never left my brain and was probably what I was thinking about when I started this business. Here is a picture of my own bougie “stinky” soap.

What's bubbling at the Apothecary

Hello friends!

September has arrived and around here that means the last bits of summer are being tucked away and the cauldron starts bubbling with something a little darker and woodier.

After a VERY eventful summer season, including an Ohio storm which had very strong opinions about our booth, we are turning our attention to all things fall.

NEXT STOP: WITCH FEST
In October we head back to Bloomington IN for Witch Fest, one of our favorite events, hosted by Twig and Ash Event Planning. We will have a Witch Faire exclusive soap as well as another new scent line called, "Witch Sleigh". And no, I'm not saying anything else about that one yet.

Hi friends,
At our most recent event, The Great Camelot Renaissance Faire a sudden storm popped up. Thankfully the surrounding vendors quickly came to help Brian and Sam and they got to shelter safely and we are forever grateful. The same can’t be said for our inventory, signs, etc.
Of what’s left, some labels got wrinkled, some packaging got dented, and a few products came away looking a little battle-worn.

After many late nights, lavender-scented mornings, and more than a little magic, I’m so excited to finally welcome you to the new online home of Lady Lavender’s Apothecary.

What began as a small dream during one of the hardest chapters of my life slowly grew into something beautiful: a peaceful little apothecary filled with handmade soaps, comforting scents, and everyday magic.
