It's been a while since we posted here, but we have just four months until the next family reunion set for Sept. 28 in Wilson. Here's the letter I just emailed some family just in case it doesn't reach everyone. Also, keep an eye on stancilreunion.com for updates. Thanks, Ty
As we head into summer, we're already busy getting ready for our annual Stancil Family Reunion! Please mark your calendars for Sunday, September 28th, 2025. We'll be gathering from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wilson Moose Lodge, 2705 Forest Hills Rd SW, Wilson, NC 27893.
We know this first reunion without our beloved Renn Stancil Hinton, who passed away on December 26th, 2024, will feel different. Mom poured so much love and effort into organizing these gatherings, and we're all still feeling her absence, just as many of you are grieving your own losses. I know her email address is the one you would more likely recognize.
This year, more than ever, we hope you'll consider coming together to share in some great food and, most importantly, to swap stories and memories. Even if it's been a while, or if you've never been before, everyone is truly welcome. It's a chance to lean on each other, reconnect, and celebrate our family's enduring bonds.
We've been hard at work updating stancilreunion.com! The site has been cleaned up and we're adding more biographies, photos, and features. We'd love to dedicate more pages to our relatives, so if you have stories or photos to share, please send them our way!

You are encouraged to bring a favorite dish, dessert, or drink to share. Doors open at 9 a.m. for room preparation, registration, and meal setup. Feel free to also bring recipes of your dish so we can share with others.
🙌 Volunteer Request
We are looking for volunteers to help with setting up, serving food, and organizing activities. Let us know if you'd like to help!

We are collecting stories for the annual Stancil Record magazine. Send us news about births, graduations, weddings, anniversaries, vacations and other milestones —photos are welcome!
