We met Elizabeth and Twinkle Time Twinkle Time Cleaning a few years ago when beginning a short term rental journey. From day one, they wowed us with their sparkles, professionalism, and unmatched attention to detail. But what truly stood out was Elizabeth herself — her heart immediately connected with ours.
Beyond running a top-tier cleaning business, Elizabeth has a mission that runs much deeper: helping people in recovery rebuild their lives and rediscover purpose through meaningful work. My name is Elizabeth, and I am the founder of Twinkle Time Cleaning. Our company is more than just a cleaning service—we are dedicated to changing lives, one cleaning at a time, for both our clients and our employees.
My journey to starting this business was shaped by many hardships. Life hasn’t always been easy, but through determination and perseverance, I have overcome challenges that were meant to hold me back. I have been in recovery for 11 years, and these experiences have taught me the importance of grace, resilience, and second chances.
I started Twinkle Time Cleaning because I needed flexibility in my work that my previous jobs couldn’t offer. I knew I had more to give, and owning my own business has given me the freedom to help others—whether it’s making a client’s day brighter or offering my employees flexible schedules and a supportive environment.
At Twinkle Time Cleaning, we believe everyone deserves compassion and the opportunity to grow. Mistakes are part of learning, and it’s okay to try again. I want people to know they are worth it, and that their past does not define them. Leadership, to me, means leading with empathy and striving to make a positive impact on everyone we work with.
Building this company has come with its own set of challenges. Finding people who want to grow with me—not just work, but truly build something together—is difficult. But what keeps me going is the chance to make a difference in people’s lives, whether they are clients or team members.
Some of the best ideas come from simply talking and sharing knowledge with others. Networking and connecting with people has helped me shape and grow Twinkle Time Cleaning. You can always learn something new from every person you meet, and those conversations have been invaluable to our success.
One of my clients inspired me to expand and hire employees. He saw the value in what I was doing as a solo cleaner and encouraged me to reach more people. His belief in Twinkle Time Cleaning is a big reason why I am writing this today.
Looking ahead, my dream is to find the right people who share my passion and vision, and eventually franchise Twinkle Time Cleaning. I would love to see our company in every town, spreading hope, opportunity, and a little sparkle wherever we go.
