✨MEET THE TEAM WEDNESDAY!✨
Today is our last Meet The Team Wednesday and we are ending it with, Talia!
Tell us about yourself and your family.
“Hi! I’m Talia Hasse! I’ve been married to my incredible husband, Colby Hasse for 2 years. Together, we have a beautiful daughter, Taytum. 💓I’ve always had a big heart for kiddos. I got my bachelors in Behavioral Neuroscience from GVSU and have spent the last 10 years nannying. Now the Lord’s blessed us with me being a stay-at-home momma. Outside of that, I love to go thrifting, bake, read a good book, and a REALLY good cup of coffee (the stronger the better 😆). More than all of those things, I’m a daughter of Jesus Christ! 4 years ago Jesus changed my life and my relationship with Him is the foundation of who I am. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to serve Him and be part of what He’s doing through Camp Sozo! 🔥”
What is your role on the Camp Sozo team?
“I’m the Logistics Coordinator 🤓this basically means that I get to do a little bit of everything 🤪a lot of what I do happens behind the scenes — planning, coordinating, organizing, thinking of all the little details, and asking “what if…” probably 100 times 😆🙈. I love being able to bring the behind-the-scenes pieces together so our team can focus on what matters most: creating a place where kids encounter Jesus and spend time growing their relationship with Him.”
How has God led you to Camp Sozo?
“For a while, God has placed a desire on my heart to be involved in something that impacts the lives of kids and points them to Jesus. When my husband told me he felt that God was calling him to step into this ministry, I knew I wanted to walk alongside him. Not to follow whatever he does, but because I believe God has placed this calling on both of our lives and I’m grateful to serve alongside my husband, my best teammate, as his wife. Camp Sozo has become special to us because I believe God is going to use it to reach kids in a multitude of ways.”
We are SO thankful for every person who has said yes to serving, and we can’t wait to see what God is going to do through this team and through Camp Sozo! ♥️
