It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Fox, husband of Ruth Fox, who had been managing Cottages by the Sea since May of 2025. On the morning of April 22, 2026, Paul went into Anaphylactic Shock and was not able to be revived. He is laid to rest in the San Juan Islands of Washington State.

Unfortunately, last week, our housekeeper, Denise, also passed away after a short battle with cancer. Our hearts are broken in so many ways.

A recent cancellation in Charthouse afforded us the opportunity to get in to that cottage and make a few upgrades! Whew!! Finally!! New doors, fan, TV, furniture, mirrors, curtains and rods, coffee maker, patio furniture, some fresh paint and lots of repairs. It feels new and fresh!
