Ba tháng vừa qua đã khép lại với nhiều dấu ấn đáng tự hào, đánh dấu những nỗ lực không ngừng của toàn thể đội ngũ Crowne Plaza Danang City Centre trên hành trình nâng cao chất lượng dịch vụ và mang đến những trải nghiệm tốt hơn cho khách hàng.

Townhall Q2 là dịp để chúng ta cùng nhìn lại những dấu ấn đã cùng nhau tạo nên, cập nhật kết quả hoạt động của khách sạn và chia sẻ những định hướng cho chặng đường phía trước. Đặc biệt, Giám đốc khách sạn, ông Oliver Horn đã chia sẻ những chỉ số về chất lượng dịch vụ và trải nghiệm khách hàng, đồng thời nhấn mạnh một thông điệp quan trọng: sự nhất quán trong việc mang đến trải nghiệm chất lượng cho khách hàng chính là nền tảng để tạo ra kết quả kinh doanh bền vững, thúc đẩy doanh thu và nâng cao hiệu quả hoạt động của khách sạn.

Over the past three months, we've reached several proud milestones, reflecting the dedication of our Crowne Plaza Danang City Centre team in improving our service and delivering better experiences for our guests.

Our Q2 Townhall was an opportunity to look back on the milestones we achieved together, review the hotel's performance, and share the key priorities for the journey ahead. During the session, our General Manager - Mr. Oliver Horn shared key insights from our guest experience and service performance metrics, emphasizing an important message: consistent service delivery is the foundation of sustainable business success. By creating consistently great guest experiences, we strengthen guest loyalty, drive revenue, and improve our overall business performance.

It was also a meaningful occasion to recognize the efforts of our entire team and celebrate outstanding colleagues whose contributions have played an important role in our shared success.

A day filled with energy, meaningful conversations, and plenty of interesting questions about the hospitality industry — that's what Crowne Plaza Danang City Centre took away from Career Day 2026 at the University of Economics – The University of Danang.

At our booth, we had the pleasure of meeting confident and enthusiastic students who were eager to explore new opportunities. Trong trường hợp ngừng tim, mỗi giây đều có ý nghĩa. Chỉ cần chậm trễ vài phút, cơ hội sống sót của nạn nhân có thể giảm đi đáng kể. Và rất nhiều trường hợp, chính những người có mặt tại hiện trường là những người tạo nên sự khác biệt giữa sự sống và cái chết. Chính vì vậy, những phút đầu tiên sau khi xảy ra sự cố được xem là “thời gian vàng” quyết định khả năng hồi phục của người bệnh.

Nhằm nâng cao khả năng ứng phó với các tình huống khẩn cấp và đảm bảo an toàn cho khách hàng cũng như đồng nghiệp, khách sạn đã tổ chức chương trình đào tạo 𝐂𝐏𝐑 (𝐇𝐨̂ 𝐡𝐚̂́𝐩 𝐧𝐡𝐚̂𝐧 𝐭𝐚̣𝐨) và hướng dẫn sử dụng 𝐀𝐄𝐃 (𝐌𝐚́𝐲 𝐤𝐡𝐮̛̉ 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐢𝐦 𝐭𝐮̛̣ đ𝐨̣̂𝐧𝐠) dành cho các đồng nghiệp nòng cốt của khách sạn.

In a cardiac arrest situation, every second matters. Just a few minutes of delay can significantly reduce a person's chances of survival. In many cases, the people who are present at the scene are the ones who can make the difference between life and death. That is why the first few minutes following an incident are often referred to as the "golden minutes" that can determine a patient's outcome and recovery.

To strengthen our emergency response capabilities and ensure the safety of both guests and colleagues, the hotel recently conducted a CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) training session for our key colleagues.

Safety is not just about procedures — it is about preparation, confidence, and the willingness to take action when it matters most. We hope the knowledge and skills gained from this training will help us remain ready to protect the safety and well-being of our guests, colleagues, and the wider community whenever needed.

Khi một sự cố xảy ra trong khách sạn, Manager on Duty (MOD) chính là người quản lý cấp cao nhất có mặt tại hiện trường và là người dẫn dắt toàn bộ quá trình ứng phó.

Từ báo cháy, tai nạn, sự cố y tế, cho đến các tình huống an ninh khẩn cấp, mỗi quyết định được đưa ra trong những phút đầu tiên đều có thể tạo nên sự khác biệt rất lớn.

Với mục tiêu giúp các MOD hiểu rõ vai trò của mình và tự tin hơn khi xử lý các tình huống khẩn cấp, khách sạn đã tổ chức chương trình Table Top Exercise dưới sự điều phối của Phó bộ phận An Ninh – một buổi thực hành tình huống mô phỏng, nơi các Head of Department cùng nhau phân tích, thảo luận và đưa ra phương án xử lý cho các kịch bản có thể xảy ra trong thực tế.

Thông qua 6 tình huống mô phỏng về an toàn và an ninh, các MOD không chỉ được rà soát lại quy trình ứng phó mà còn có cơ hội chia sẻ kinh nghiệm, phối hợp liên phòng ban và nhìn nhận các rủi ro từ nhiều góc độ khác nhau.

An toàn không chỉ nằm ở những quy trình được viết ra, mà còn nằm ở sự chuẩn bị, khả năng phối hợp và sự tự tin của đội ngũ lãnh đạo khi đối mặt với những tình huống không mong muốn.

When an incident occurs in the hotel, the Manager on Duty (MOD) is the most senior manager on site and is responsible for leading the response, coordinating departments, and making critical decisions under pressure.

From fire alarms, medical emergencies, accidents, and power failures to security-related incidents, the actions taken during the first few minutes can make a significant difference to both guest and colleague safety.

To strengthen our leaders’ confidence and preparedness, the hotel recently conducted a Table Top Exercise for our MOD team by our Assistant Security Manager. Through a series of realistic emergency scenarios, Heads of Department worked together to assess risks, discuss response strategies, and determine the appropriate actions required in each situation.

Across six safety and security scenarios, participants had the opportunity to review existing procedures, practice cross-department collaboration, and gain valuable perspectives from different operational areas of the hotel.

Safety is not only about having procedures in place — it is about being prepared, working together effectively, and having the confidence to lead when it matters most.

Vậy là hành trình 5 ngày của Celebrate Service Week đã chính thức khép lại.

Ngày cuối cùng vẫn ngập tràn tiếng cười với những lượt quay may mắn đầy hồi hộp, những tấm thẻ Treasure Hunt được tìm thấy và rất nhiều phần quà đã tìm được chủ nhân xứng đáng.

Và để kết thúc một tuần lễ đầy năng lượng, chúng mình cũng đã cùng nhau bước vào trận đấu Bowling đầy sôi động. Giữa những áp lực công việc thường ngày, giữa những deadline hay những ca làm bận rộn, là những tiếng reo hò khi strike, những tràng cười giòn tan và những khoảnh khắc đồng đội cùng nhau tận hưởng khoảng thời gian thật vui vẻ sau một tuần làm việc hết mình.

Nhưng có lẽ điều ý nghĩa nhất của Celebrate Service Week không nằm ở những phần quà, những trò chơi hay những hoạt động đặc biệt.

Đó là lời cảm ơn dành cho tất cả colleagues – những người mỗi ngày đều mang tinh thần True Hospitality đến với khách hàng và đồng đội bằng sự tận tâm, nhiệt huyết và những điều tử tế rất đỗi bình thường.

Và tại IHG, sự ghi nhận không chỉ diễn ra trong một tuần lễ đặc biệt. Celebrate Service Week có thể kéo dài 5 ngày, nhưng việc trân trọng, ghi nhận và cảm ơn các bạn là điều chúng tôi mong muốn thực hiện mỗi ngày, bởi chính các bạn là những người tạo nên những trải nghiệm tuyệt vời cho khách hàng và làm cho khách sạn trở thành một nơi tuyệt vời để làm việc ❤️

And just like that, our 5-day Celebrate Service Week journey has come to an end.

The final day was still filled with excitement, from thrilling lucky spins and hidden Treasure Hunt cards being discovered, to many well-deserved prizes finding their lucky winners.

To wrap up an energetic week, we also came together for a fun-filled Bowling Tournament. Amid the daily pressures of work, busy shifts, and endless deadlines, there were cheers for every strike, bursts of laughter, and wonderful moments of colleagues simply enjoying time together after giving their best throughout the week.

But perhaps the most meaningful part of Celebrate Service Week was never about the prizes, games, or special activities.

It was about saying thank you to all our colleagues — the people who bring the spirit of True Hospitality to life every single day through their dedication, passion, and countless acts of kindness, both for our guests and for one another.

And at IHG, recognition is not limited to one special week. Celebrate Service Week may last for five days, but appreciating, recognizing, and thanking our colleagues is something we strive to do every day.
