Ideally situated between Paphos and Polis, the pretty village of Kathikas has paved stone roads and a wide number of stone houses. The village retains its old world character whilst encouraging selected new developments. In the heart of the village, there are well-known restaurants and three coffee shops. The church, as always is located in the centre of the village; the village centre has been renovated, now having cobble stone roads, stone walls and other features.

Kathikas has a wide selection of tavernas and restaurants including the Farm Yard tavern, Imogen's Inn, Yiannis taverna, Petradaki taverna, Kiparissos taverna and others. The food offered in the village is often reviewed and it is said to be of a high standard and very traditional.

Kathikas’ central location makes it an ideal base from which to explore such areas as Polis, the Baths of Aphrodite, the Akamas Peninsula, the turtle hatchery at Lara Bay, just to mention but a few.

Famous for its vineyards, the village is surrounded by vines and is renowned for the quality of its grapes. Many of the vines have been in the same family for generations. Two very famous wineries open their doors to visitors, so you can enjoy the winemaker’s craft.

Kathikas is 22kms from Paphos and 14kms from Latchi. The village is situated halfway along the E711; being the only primary route that connects the E709 and B7, which are the old and new roads between Paphos and Polis. Nearest hospital in Polis.

The village has some of the best restaurants in Cyprus with bars and a supermarket.

Latchi and Polis Beaches are a 10 minute drive where you can hire sun beds and water sports.

Coral Bay is a 15 minute drive which has the same facilities.

The villa is surrounded by fields of grape vines and boasting two wineries that are ideal for visiting for wine tasting and to purchase.
