I am not usually one to write reviews but people need to know the truth! This hotel has beem mis sold as a 5 star hotel which includes Wi-Fi which we were unable to connect to. Kids club which was not open, Gym not in usable condition.

We arrived after travelling all night and their was no security or signage so we ended up on the beach before we found reception. The receptionist could not find our room keys for atleast 30mins then found us 1 room out of 2 and asked us all to rest there until he found the other key. The room was filthy and to our horror we found a used needle/syringe in the bathroom bin. We could not stay in there so we requested a new room. Breakfast consisted of green boiled eggs chips chicken escalopes salad cheese and ham a station with syrups and jam which has flies there was a drinks station and musli cereal and a loaf of bread with no butter nothing was edible.
We met our rep at 10.30 who was no help he was just interested in getting us signed up for activities we had no information on fire exits, timings of meals how the hotel was run.
We went back to reception to request a change of room and collect keys for our second room to be told we needed to speak with the manager who was apparently not in although we found him hiding in his office. He didnt seem fased at all and took no accountability at the fact we had a syringe in our room after a few hours my husband found him again and demanded a clean room fit for purpose and he upgraded us rom BB to half board (although we could not eat the food the fact we could get drinks at breakfast and dinner helped). Our new rooms were also bad but better we were greeted with dusty carpets, wallpapered showers mould and mildew and a leaking toilet and a blocked shower we had to make do. The pool was the best part although a health and safety hazard a kid hurt themselves on a nail sticking out the kids pool, there where cracks and the stairs were broken also mould and holes at the bottom of the pool. Sunbeds were available but no mat on them and they were dirty . The slides had cracks on it and my Daughter and husband both grazed themselves on it. The chlorine content in the pool was too high causing skin irritation again the manager did not care.
We where charged 40 lira for pool towels and our rooms were not cleaned until the last day of our stay (where they changed the bin and changed the bedding). We have visitied Marmaris before and after this experience will never go back again as just felt unsafe and dirty I have bags under my eyes from lack of sleep and feel gutted my family had to experience this hotel from hell.
