Join us in Sodwana Bay for an incredible year of fun, new friends and great diving... go from Zero to Hero as you earn your Padi Dive Instructor rating and set off to explore the world as a dive professional. It all starts with the Introductory Phase - here you learn to dive (if you haven’t already) and progress through your training until you are a fully qualified Rescue Diver. This phase lasts 3
months and there are 4 intakes per year - 1st February; 1st May; 1st August; 1st November. Once the first phase is done, you start on your 2nd Phase... the Padi Divemaster course (1 month) where you will learn everything you need to know to work as a Divemaster in the industry. However, you are only ever as good as your experience, so for the next 3 months (3rd Phase is called the DM Experience Phase) you will work to hone your skills, eventually leading dives for divers who are staying at our resort. At the same time we offer an IDC Prep course to our DMs, to get them in tip-top shape for doing their IDC (Instructor Development Course). The 4th Phase is the 10 day IDC where you will be trained to pass the 2 Day Instructor Exam at the end of the course. This is always a huge highlight and 4 times a year we celebrate with all our new Padi Instructors as they set forth to embark on their chosen career...
