We've been highlighting different ways people can be a part of the ministry at Tall Timber over the past couple of weeks, and we're excited to share more with you now!

If buying needed items for the camp isn't your thing (see previous posts), but you enjoy being outside and perhaps playing some golf, have we got an opportunity for you! We have our first annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser coming up on May 20! The event is a scramble-style format, shotgun start, with teams of four. We'll be playing at the lovely Kahler Mountain Club, 18 hole Golf course, Lodging & Athletic Club, and will end the day with delicious lunch at Tall Timber. Cudo's to Der Sportsmann, It is going to be a great tournament & fundraiser!

Our hearts are full, thanks to Der Sportsmann for their longstanding support of the Foundation and the 2023 Marson & Marson Cascade Golf Classic.

Der Sportsmann is sponsoring four on-course skill contests at this June's event. Golfers playing in our tournament have a chance to win prizes on one traditional Long Drive, one Limited Flite Long Drive and two Closest to the Pin holes.

The rink is now Closed. The predicted overnight temperatures did not occur, so the surface ice is very soft. This will continue until Tuesday, when the temperatures will be in the teens and single digits for the rest of the week, with some snow predicted. At that time there will be volunteers needed for snow removal and flooding starting Wednesday or Thursday.

If you arrive at the rink that has any snow cover, please do not disturb or try to move snow. Doing so makes future removal of snow very difficult, and subsequent grooming impossible. Thank you for your consideration. Volunteers needed. Please call 509-763-4025 to help clearing snow, flooding & maintenance of rink.
