At last some sunshine streaming through the windows. After a lot of dark wet days we are being treated to a cold snap. Which is just lovely as long as the snow stays on the hills. Back to school tomorrow and maybe there is someone looking for snow days! 😆

This wee corner is staying like this for another wee while. Just not ready to let Christmas slip away. Though very much looking forward to some routine!

Today is wet and dark. Our street party has been cancelled. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much much rain. 2024 wasn’t kind to us on Skye for weather. I have moaned a lot about it 🤣.

I was so lucky to be sent this amazing candy stripe bow from A beautiful lady who makes them from her home in Luthianian. This will certainly be finding a new home all year round.

I can’t believe we are heading for a new year shortly. This has been the fastest year ever.

Have a great night whatever you do. I want to go to bed 🤣

It’s been a long time since I posted! Life is just simply crazy!

A glimpse of our sitting room with the bow trend! Stripes and bows can a home have too many of them? I am so behind in every department! This weekend I am going to blitz what I need to do so I can enjoy the last few days before the madness of Bothy changeovers and Christmas descends. Are you all organised for Christmas? X

Are you sick of seeing this room? It seems to be where I am drawn to just now. Think it’s the calmness even with the pattern clash! The only room not to have clutter. Though I do have a massive collection of magazines on the other side. Would you be surprised if I said they were home interiors?
A stove in here and I’d never leave!

After 18 months of a lost spare car key. I found it in a coat I was photographing to sell on Vinted! I have never been so happy to see them. For someone who loses keys, my phone and purse on a daily basis the relief is real!
