Enjoy lunch in a pod outside, and a look in the shop!👀

13. Roo’s Leap (Montrose)
Family friendly… & incredible steaks! 🥩

14. Quayside (Gordoun)
The best fish & chips in the area! Can also catch the van in Laurencekirk Thursdays & Fridays 🐟

15. Grassic Gibbon Centre (Arbuthnott)
Have lunch and also explore the exhibition on the novelist. It also has a book & gift shop! 📖

Mount Battock ⛰️ (778m)

Mount Battock is the most easterly of the Corbetts and the highest point of a wide area of rolling moors.

You can make your way up from Millden, Glenesk. It’s about 15km trip, with the option to make this longer with many different paths. There’s a well-established path to follow. Although steep at points, it is well worth it for the views from the top!
Route guidance can be found on walk highlands website.

And… just a 20minute drive from Ramsay Place!
