A Heartfelt Update from Our Family to Yours
Hey y'all,
We wanted to take a moment to update you all on some big changes with our beach chair and umbrella service. As many of you know, last year we were offered the opportunity to provide rentals on a beautiful stretch of the beach through a vendor arrangement with a local water sports company that held the town’s contract. We poured our hearts (and savings!) into building a top-notch experience—high-quality chairs, umbrellas, equipment, and an amazing team to serve you all summer long.
Unfortunately, things didn’t go quite as planned. The company we partnered with decided not to continue with our agreement and ended up selling that location of their business to another Water Sports company. The new owners have chosen to handle chair and umbrella rentals themselves, so we won’t be returning to that location this summer.
We want to be clear—we’re not pointing fingers. It’s just one of those tough business lessons we’re chalking up to experience. We gave it our all, and while it’s disappointing to walk away after such a big investment, we’re incredibly grateful for the support and love you’ve all shown us.
We also want to give a huge shoutout and thank you to Kendall Bryant , our amazing high school team member, who committed her summer to working hard alongside our family. She showed up with a great attitude every day, and we’re so proud to have had her on our crew.
We’re still here, still passionate, and exploring new opportunities—whether that’s in beach services, events, or another adventure entirely. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being part of our journey. Stay tuned—we’re not done yet!
