Monster Pig Alert! 🐗‼️

What an absolute Eastern Cape monster! DR connected with this massive warthog boar during the McCormick family safari, and what a privilege it was to come across a pig of this calibre.

A lot of fun went into planning the hunt, reading the wind, and carefully stalking in to get within range of this old warrior. One well-placed shot later, we had an incredible trophy on the ground and a memory that will be talked about for years to come.

These big old Eastern Cape boars are hard-earned trophies, and this one certainly lived up to the name MONSTER PIG! 💥

A magnificent black impala ram and a hard-earned trophy. After a careful stalk, we finally closed the distance and got within range. One perfect shot later, and your ram was down!

The Kudu He’s Been Chasing 🦌🔥

After plenty of patience, hard hunting, and time in the bush, DR finally got his hands on the Kudu bull he’d been after. A well-earned trophy and an unforgettable moment in the Eastern Cape wilderness.

One of those hunts where the long days, early mornings and countless kilometres all become worth it when that bull finally steps out.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, we headed out for one final stalk in search of the prized Golden Wildebeest. Just as the light began to fade, this absolute monster of a bull emerged from the thickets. Quick reactions from DR sealed an unforgettable hunt.

It was an Impala kind of day, with father and son each harvesting outstanding rams.

For Hunter, this was a moment he’ll never forget— his very first antelope. Together, PH Aidan and Hunter patiently stalked a bachelor herd before Hunter made a perfect 150-yard heart shot, bringing his ram down cleanly. An exceptional first harvest and a testament to his composure and skill.

Congratulations to both DR and Hunter on two fantastic trophies. We were honoured to share in such a special father-and-son milestone.

DR kicked off his safari with a fantastic Blesbuck ram. Hunting these wary herd animals is never straightforward, with zebras, ostriches, and impala acting as extra sets of eyes, ready to sound the alarm at the slightest sign of danger.

PH Owen and DR carefully closed the distance to 150 metres before DR made one perfect shot, cleanly taking this beautiful ram. An exciting start to the safari and a memorable hunt as the African sun dipped below the horizon.

What an incredible week in the Eastern Cape as we welcomed the McCormick family for their very first South African safari!

With hunting conditions at their absolute best, we were fortunate to enjoy an unforgettable week in the bush. From exceptional trophies and exciting hunts to quality family time and plenty of laughter around the campfire, this safari was about so much more than the harvest—it was about creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Most importantly, new friendships were forged, and we can’t wait to welcome the McCormicks back to Addo in 2028.
