Immerse yourself in nature at this recently established WILD CAMPING site nestled in the Nkomazi Private Game Reserve. Positioned near the base of the prominent Thaba boulder, this campsite offers stunning views of the surrounding savanna and endless African sunsets. Visiting the malaria-free Nkomazi Private Game Reserve allows you to marvel at the grandeur of towering mountains, expansive river v

alleys, and impressive grasslands. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the reserve spans 15,000 hectares and supports a rich and diverse ecosystem. It's home to four of the Big 5, featuring both Highveld and Lowveld game species, as well as abundant birdlife. The facilities include open-air hot water showers and a ablutions with a view. The site deliberately lacks modern amenities like electricity, offering a closer connection to nature. This newly introduced campsite can now be reserved for up to five family groups per booking and is booked out in its entirety. Put your off-road skills to the test on our designated 4x4 trails or unwind by spending your day at the campsite, where you can spot wildlife going about their day, in the Savanna below, from your elevated vantage point. Additionally, arrangements can be made for fishing in the Komati River.
