We want to inspire campers by offering outdoor experiences. togetherness, and memories. Mission Statement

We as Southern Free State Club are part of the greater CCSA . We have the same Misson / Vision and Dreams. CCSA's mission is to inspire a vibrant community of campers and caravanners by offering exceptional outdoor experiences that foster family togetherness, connection with nature, and lifelong memories. The Vision is to be the leading caravanning and camping community in SA, recognised for fostering inclusive, eco-conscious outdoor adventures that build lasting relationships and enrich lives. The Caravan Club of Southern Africa undertakes to make the benefits of belonging to the Club so attractive that caravaners will wish to join us, and we will welcome them and nurture them into our activities until they are fully integrated into our midst. The Caravan Club of Southern Africa is the largest Caravan Club in Southern Africa and holds 6 National Rallies per year on pre-determined dates on which every Region in South Africa will hold a Rally. Every 3rd year Rally South Africa is held in which case there are 7 National Rallies in that particular year. In addition to this our Regions hold as many as six Regional Rallies making it possible for members to get away as often as one weekend per month. We are a family orientated Club and our Code of Conduct, which every member is expected to abide by, ensures that the image of the CCSA is held in high regard by the general public, fellow campers, the resorts we frequent and fellow road users

Do you remember your very first camping trip? What made it special? 🥇

There’s a unique kind of magic in the smell of the first campfire, the sound of rain tapping on a caravan roof, or the sheer triumph of setting up an awning without a single argument. 🏕️✨

Perhaps it was a backyard test-run decades ago or a cross-country caravan expedition, that very first trip is where the bug bites and life is never quite the same after.

We want to hear your story! 👇 Drop a comment below telling us:
● Where was your very first camping trip?
● What made it so unforgettable? (Even if it was a total disaster that makes you laugh now!)

Attach a throwback photo if you have one! Let’s share the memories that started our love for the open road. 🚐💨
