Dear family, friends and guest / friends

We would like to let you all know that Cisco, our beloved house manger, chef and guest friend to many of you who have stayed with us over the years at Boutique@10 has tragically died in a horrific bus accident travelling back from Malawi after his annual holiday. The accident happened May 31, 2025 in the early morning hours….we are devastated as he was like family to us and always greeted all with a big smile. Such a warm and friendly gentleman to all who met him.

In many ways he was the shining light every morning for our guests, cooking a wonderful breakfast of choice and always there with “Smiley” ready to help. Cisco was a family man and always thought about his family first. He had started building a house in Malawi for his mother and two sons that are living there. His wife and him lived in Sea Point with their youngest son, 15 months old.

Many of you have so kindly asked how you could help in any way financially to help his family. We do not have bank account details for the family and want his wife to benefit fully from any contributions. We tried to set up a GOFUNDME for his wife and sons but are unable to do this in South Africa. We decided it safest and most beneficial to put the money into our savings account and then send it on to his family when we can verify the correct account for his wife and family. If you would like to contribute, please private message us for banking details. His family will be overwhelmed and any contribution will help them. God Bless you.
