Destiny House

Destiny House Place of safety for abandoned & abused babies Destiny house is a non-profit organisation registered with the Department of Social Services. The purpose and mission of the organisation is to provide a safe haven for abused and abandoned children.

The ages vary between the ages of birth and 2 years. The children are placed in the care of the safe house until such time foster or adoptive parents are identified or parents re-habilitated. Sometimes these children stay for years in the care of the safe house. The project intends purchase & to extend the existing house as well as renovate the existing sleeping quarters. Our secondary function is to assist mothers whose babies have been removed due to alcohol / drug abuse, by providing parent skills training as well as intensive counseling.

Our Current fund-raising project: After being very successful during the past 3 years, Destiny House is now willing to commit to stabilize the housing to further growth in order to help more babies.
