A happy belated new year to all. My New Years resolution ?? Post on a more regular basis. I have not been very good with that this past year 🙈
My outside table at home had been a little neglected and needed some tlc. Now it is once again beautiful.

Hi All
So the last half of last year I was not very good with posting on my page. I apologize and once again will do my utmost to update on a weekly basis. Had a very busy and good year, and hope this year will be as good as last year with lots of interesting and beautiful projects to share with all. Again I have not posted for ages. I will certainly do my utmost to rectify that, and post on a more regular basis. This piece is an old ball and claw chest, with little drawer at the bottom. Redone in a grey with distressing. And redid the original fittings in a silver. The piece is for sale. Price: R 2 200

Hi Everyone. Wow its been a while since my last post. I will try update more often. Its just been crazy busy at the moment. Todays post is some custom frames we made. These can be ordered from us in either natural finish or painted or combination of the two. The price is dependant on the size of the frame and the finish. The one with the poster is A1 size and to customers specification, natural with white wash finish on inside. Price on that Is R875. Please feel free to contact me if you have any queries.

One of our recent projects involved a restuarant makeover. The furnishings were very dark, and old fashioned. The client wished to give a lighter more inviting look. We worked with the existing pieces, being more cost effective than replacing. Here is one of the counters we transformed with some cladding. Covering the dark wood, and giving it a more rustic feel.

Its been such a busy start to the year, I have not had a chance to make a posting yet. I hope all our customers had a wonderful break and a great new year. Our post today is a cute little desk that was given a new lease on life. Before you decide to throw away that one ramshackle piece consider that it can be made to look like new, saving you money while doing our bit for the environment.

In todays economy, it is not always possible to just go out and purchase new furniture. But if you are tired of your old pieces, a simple spruce up can transform them into a new beautiful piece. Like this dining table that we refurbished. We kept the legs natural and dark, to stil tie in with the chairs, and did a lovely light technique on the top.

Its been a while since my last update. Things have been just a little bit crazy. We have been growing our signature living family to include BeylefeldEls designs; which offers unique, custom designed, once-off pieces allowing room for lots of creativity. Also we have our manufacturing side operating as Knots & Grains, which is responsible for all manufacturing requirements. I will upload photos of our new projects, and also have a look at our eShop for some of our BeylefeldEls creations.

Signature Living is branching out into new fields. The ultimate aim to offer all decor needs under one roof so to speak. I have been collaborating with an interior decorator. We have now added this to our growing portfolio.
Whether you wish to do a total revamp of your house, or just a mini makeover of one or 2 rooms.
I just completed a project with said interior decorator, doing a mini makeover. Working on a tight budget, it was decided to re-purpose the existing bedside tables and desk. These were simple pine, but a little paint and they are transformed into something that suits the new elegance of the finished room.
On the desk top, I did a technique to emulate wood grain, just to add some texture and diversity to a very simplistic piece.
