m, the panel comprises Higgo Jacobs, Neil Grant, David Clarke, Jörg Pfützner and Joachim Blackadder, who are members of the South African Sommeliers Association (SASA), as well as being highly qualified and internationally recognised sommeliers. The competition is the brainchild of DnA Event Management, who have partnered with the South African Sommeliers Association, Spiegelau and the Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa. The results will be published in an exciting format: that of the ideal wine list for a leading restaurant. This will allow the competition award to form the basis for new wine lists in restaurants around the country. The award aims to educate the general public as well guide them in buying exciting, different and new wines and beers. The Sommeliers Selection results will be marketed to all restaurants, to the wine buying public as well as to the wine industry.
