Part 2 – Into the Wild: Eswatini to Kruger
After crossing out of Eswatini, we rolled into Kruger National Park—a dream for any overlander. Kruger is a must for any real South African—it's where nature, heritage, and adventure collide.

Our first stop? Crocodile Bridge Camp, right on the park’s southern border. One night here and we were already surrounded by the sounds of the bush, with wildlife just meters away.

Travel Tip: Crocodile Bridge Gate is perfect for early morning game drives—get in at gate opening time and head towards Lower Sabie for some of the best chances to spot the Big Five before breakfast.

A perfect welcome to Kruger—raw, real, and unforgettable.

🚨Beware of Fraudulent 4x4 Driver Training🚨

Unfortunately, every few years, I have to put out a post like this…

If you’re planning to attend a 4x4 Driver Training course, make sure you choose a certified & accredited 4x4 Training Company/Instructor—if they are not qualified, you are being DEFRAUDED.

There are only a handful of properly accredited trainers in South Africa. If you need a verified instructor in your province, I’m happy to send you their details.

⚠️ A 4x4 Shop or 4x4 Venue CANNOT offer 4x4 Driver Training unless they have a qualified instructor. Over the weekend, I was originally booked for an event but was told my services weren’t needed because the event organizer was told that the venue had two so-called “instructors” on site. The result? Two drowned vehicles. On Monday, the event organizer called me to apologize and said he’ll never facilitate another 4x4 event unless I’m present.

⚠️ You’re also being misled if someone tells you to skip proper training and just join a 4WD Club, Facebook group, or WhatsApp group to get advice from long-standing 4x4 drivers. While you might pick up a few tips, if the person teaching isn’t a qualified trainer, you’re learning all their bad habits too.

💥If you feel you’ve been misled or defrauded by a 4x4 Training company or individual before today’s date, I invite you to attend my qualified 4x4 Driver Training Course at Clifton Canyon 4x4 Track—at no cost to you.

I’m tired of companies and individuals making a quick buck at the expense of hardworking, paying customers.

Our second cross-border adventure of the year took us to Mozambique, which was nothing short of spectacular! 🌟

With an amazing group of like-minded adventurers, we explored breathtaking spots, enjoyed stunning sea views, and relaxed in incredible pools. Our campsites became cozy havens, surrounded by the beauty of Mozambique's natural landscapes.

Each rig told a story, and every individual brought energy and excitement that made this trip unforgettable. From sunrises over the ocean to shared meals under starry skies, the memories we created will last a lifetime.
