*We are closing*

We are heart-broken to announce that, due to various reasons, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to close our beloved Ntibane Bushveld Hideaway indefinitely.

The camp is simply not up to the level and standard that we would like to offer our guests, and until we are able to renovate / rebuild / upgrade our camp, we have been forced to close.

We are confident that this is not the end of Ntibane B. H. however, and we will be back, so please don't go anywhere. We will continue to send you updates and as soon as we are back on our feet, you will be the first to know!

We wish to take this opportunity to thank all our new and repeat guests for your loyal support over the years. We hope to see you all again soon.

We have exceptionally stunning blue skies out here in winter. I especially liked this photo of the moon rising behind the tree. The contrast of the blue sky and yellow-brown grass was very striking.

We still have our winter special of Pay 2, Stay 3 running until the end of August. Why not give yourself a break and come and enjoy a little peace and quiet for a few days? We'd love to have you.

We started our macadamia harvest today, and in amongst the trees, I saw this gorgeous, little ball of flowers.

For those of you who are either new to our page or to macadamia nut farming, the flowers usually hang from a long stem called a "racime" which is about 20cms long. So this particular formation was fairly unusual (but so pretty!)

You never know what you might see on a walk around our farm. This Leopard Tortoise came to greet us on our walk down to our camp.

We have 3 of the "Little 5" on our property - the 'Leopard' Tortoise, the Ant 'Lion' and the 'Rhino' Beetle.

Who can tell us what the missing two are? 😁

We have an awesome variety of small and plains game on our farm. Some are more elusive than others. Yesterday, we were privileged to see a Serval on our dirt road. ❤️

These shy cats are slightly bigger than your average domestic house cat, have long, lean legs, and the largest ears of all the cat species. They use their ears to pin-point the location of their prey before pouncing from up to 4m away!

*DID YOU KNOW*
There is a serval-domestic cat hybrid? It's called a "Savannah".

Come for a visit and let owner / safari guide Gordon take you on a guided bush walk and maybe you'll be lucky enough to see a Serval too!
