We’ve been enjoying a few days of camping at Maroela Camp in Kruger National Park, and now we’re being thoroughly spoilt with a stay at Ingwelala 🦁🐘🌅

Interesting little detour through Acornhoek (or is that Bushbuckridge?) bypassing the collapsed road to Orpen Gate Kruger National Park. Wow, its a busy little place!!

Magoebaskloof is too stunning for words. A must do, plenty of little stops along the way but no time to procrastinate today. Long drive up the N1, Polokwane, Tzaneen, Hoedspruit. Gotta love this neck of the woods!!🧭🏞

Stopped in at Sleepers for a quick bite before heading into the park!

Hoedspruit has always been one of our favourite towns in South Africa. We’ve been visiting for over 30 years, and it’s been amazing to watch this little bush town grow into the vibrant, buzzing place it is today.

A stop at Sleepers Railway Station Restaurant is always a must. The food is exceptional, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and there’s nothing quite like sitting beneath that magnificent old tree, soaking up the Lowveld charm.

Highly recommended is their Peri Peri - we always have a jar in the fridge !

The camper is packed, the road is calling, and adventure awaits.
