There are three important factors that can have an influence on the efficiency of evaporation coolers. The drier the air the more effective the cooling will be. If the humidity level of the air is high the cooling will not be as efficient. Secondly, if there are adequate outlets such as windows, air vents and doors the cooling will also be more efficient. Lastly, the continuous distribution of water over the cooling pads is essential. If the cooling pads are allowed to dry there will be a dramatic reduction in the efficiency of the cooling process.
