Happy Heritage Day! 🇿🇦

For us as South Africans, there is nothing quite like the feeling of coming together, lighting a fire, and sharing a braai. It’s the place where our different stories fade into the background, and we just connect as one family on this same ground. Sending so much love from our team to yours.

Our heritage is carried in the stories we tell and the traditions we preserve.

We celebrate today the many histories, cultures and communities that shape South Africa, and the shared ground on which we continue to build.

Happy Heritage Day, South Africa. 🇿🇦

Incredibly proud to be part of an agency achieving this level of global growth! Bringing that same premium standard and drive to our clients right here along the Garden Route. 🇿🇦🇬🇧

Some news from the UK worth sharing here in South Africa.

By Design is now the fastest growing premium estate agency in the UK.

A fantastic achievement for David and the entire By Design network and one we’re very happy to be celebrating from this side of the world 🇬🇧🇿🇦

There is a distinct moment when the noise of the world fades away, replaced entirely by the gentle lap of water against the deck. 🌿✨

Welcome to Marina Magic at the Knysna Quays. This isn’t just a place to unpack a suitcase, it’s a sanctuary where mornings begin with the sun reflecting off calm canals, afternoons are spent paddling out onto the open lagoon, and evenings wrap up with laughter on the patio. 🌊🛶

We style spaces and look after these homes with all our hearts, so that the moment you step through the door, you can finally just breathe.

❤️ Reading notes like this reminds me exactly why I love what I do.

Hosting is so much more than just opening a door, it’s about creating a safe, peaceful sanctuary where people can truly step away from the world and relax.

I am so incredibly grateful to every guest who trusts me. 🌿✨

So incredibly proud to be a part of this beautiful, resilient team of women! 🌿❤️

Happy Womans Day ❤️

Behind every listing, every late-night call, every successful sale, every challenge overcome and every relationship built are women who quietly get on with the job.

Today isn’t about celebrating perfection.
It’s about recognising resilience, professionalism, kindness and the impact these women have on the people they work with every single day.

By Design may only be celebrating its first year, but these women bring decades of experience, wisdom and heart to everything they do.

Happy Youth Day, South Africa! 🇿🇦

Today, we honor the incredible young minds who inspire us to build a bright and beautiful future. 🌿Wishing a peaceful and relaxing holiday to all the families and future leaders in our community today! ❤️

Every great future begins with a curious mind, a bold idea and the courage to pursue it.

The most dangerous thing a young person can do is believe someone else’s ceiling is their own.

Happy Youth Day South Africa 🇿🇦

This is what a stress-free holiday is all about! 🌿✨

Reading Joanne’s note completely made my day. There is nothing better than knowing a guest felt looked after from the moment they checked in, and that the home had everything they needed.

Thesen Islands really is beautiful. Being able to leave the car behind and walk around safely in the evenings is the best feeling.

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, I would love to welcome you! You can view the property and read more guest stories here:
