Old School Trout Lodge is situated on Uitkomst Farm, close to the town of Machadodorp and offers quality accommodation for your next trip. The units are situated on a Trout farm and are ideally suited for lovers of the sport.
The one unit called the Houthuis can sleep 10 guests at a time and is made up of 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and the other room consists of 2 three-quarter beds. There are 6 single beds in an open-plan setting. This is very popular amongst the younger guests as there is also a lounge area and a TV in the room. This unit is situated right on the dam and the veranda is equipped with comfortable seating and a built-in braai. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need including a fridge-freezer, a microwave, toaster and stove. We also service this unit at an additional fee of R 100 per unit, per day. This unit is also equipped with a 10-seater dining room table which will allow the guests can enjoy their meals. There are 3 toilets, 2 showers and a bath, for the convenience of our guests.
The second unit is a two bedroom unit that can sleep 4 people, one room equipped with double bed and the other with two 3/4 beds. The living area is equipped with a fully equipped kitchen, fridge/freezer, stove, toaster and microwave oven. A six seater dining room table and comfortable lounge suite is also available. A comfortable shower and toilet is available and is shared by the two rooms while you can still enjoy your privacy. A built-in braai is situated on a veranda for the stunning views overlooking the dam. This unit is also fully serviced at an additional R100 per day.
A TV is available in both units and full DSTV is available at an additional charge of R30 per day on prior arrangement.
Linnen and bedding are supplied for both units.
The rates are R250pppd sharing although a minimum rate of R 550 per evening applies. We also charge R25 per rod per weekend and the Trout is charged at R120 per kg.

Ons het twee ten volle toegeruste eenhede
Die Houthuis kan 10 gaste akkomdeer en het 2 slaapkamers, een met dubbelbed endie ander het twee 3/4 beddens. Die ander vertrek het 6 enkel beddens in oop plan. Hierdie eenheid is baie gewild onder die jonger gaste aangesien dit ook ń sitkamer met televisie is. Hierdie eenheid is reg op die dam en daar is lekker kuierplek met ingeboude braai op die stoep. Die kombuis is ten volle toegerus met yskas/vrieskas, mikrogolf, brood rooster en stoof. Die eenheid beskik oor ń 10 sitplek eetkamerstel vir daai lekker om die tafel kuiers. Daar is 3 toilette, 2 storte en een bad vir die gerief van ons gaste.
Die ander eenheid het twee slaapkamers, een met dubbel bed en die ander met twee 3/4 beddens. Die leefvertrek is toegerus met volledige kombuis, yskas/vrieskas, stoof, brood rooster en mikrogolf oond. ń Ses sitplek eetkamerstel is ook daar vir die lekker om die tafel kuiers. ń Gemaklike stort is in hierdie eenheid en word gedeel tussle sen die 2 kamers maar maak ook voorsiening vir volledige privaatheid. Buitebraai en kuier stoep maak die kuiers onvergeetlik met ń progtige uitsig oor die een dam.
Albei eenhede kan daagliks gediens word vir ń additionele R100 per eenheid per dag.
