Meet the real bushveld lawnmowers of Marloth Park. The warthogs!
These little legends spend their days snuffling, snorting, and strutting through the bush as if they own the place (which, let’s be honest… they kinda do).

Did you know?
👉 Warthogs can run up to 55 km/h, that’s faster than the speed limit in Marloth Park! (Good thing they don’t need driver’s licences.) 🚗💨
👉 They often kneel on their front legs while grazing, mealtime with a touch of bushveld style.
👉 And those tails? They shoot straight up like little flags when they run, the original 4x4 antenna! 🚗💨

At Blue Goose Bush Retreat, you’ll often spot warthog families wandering peacefully through the natural bushveld, tails high and mohawks proudly on display. They’re wonderful to watch, but remember, they’re still wild animals. Adults have sharp tusks, so enjoy them from a safe distance (especially with kids around).
