If you have been following Gaby Goose (aka Buck the Duck), after an op and a few weeks of house care and recovery and last year on eggs alone that didn’t hatch, we got her a partner a few months back, Chuck - and they clearly are getting along. 🌼 🌳 🧹 Like we said previously it’s been a busy month - spring day, heritage day, housekeeping week and and - and of course we did Arbor Day, Week and Month. We had to go big, planting a tree per department around the property. 🌼 🌳 🧹

It’s been a busy month - lots to share - but let’s start with a before and after. After the floods earlier in the year we have finally managed to complete the works on the property - the final step was desilting the main dam / langspruit river. Took 5 weeks and over 500 truck loads of sands. We found a blast from the past picture from years and years ago. See the then and now.

So Luke is at it again - last time was the crocodile fishing - now it’s our Resident Goliath heron - he managed to catch in the act 🎣 🦅 🐟

⛳️ 🏌️‍♂️ It’s been a hectic few days on the golf course - clearly was the place the be. More than 300 rounds over the weekend. The feedback has been it’s in fabulous condition. ⛳️ 🏌️‍♀️ you will only know if you try.

Delayed post: We had the privilege of celebrating two weeks ago at the Stars of Hope Day Care in our local community. Working on their vegetable garden, outside awning and seating area, painting and repairing, work on their play area, some electrical repairs and running water supply for them from the other side of the property. On behalf of our owners and guests - who enable us to do this. ❤️ 🙏🏽
