When nature gets ready for winter, it’s easy to imagine cold, grey days — but not here. 🍂☀️

The garden and surrounding veld are still bursting with colour and life. Speckled Mousebirds feast happily on the Jacketplum fruit, while sugarbirds and butterflies drift from Aloe to Aloe, enjoying the sweet nectar of the winter blooms.

Lazy lizards and agamas stretch out in the sunshine, soaking up the warmth, and everywhere there’s that gentle reminder that nature provides beauty in every season. It’s the kind of day that makes you want to slow down, breathe deeply, and simply be still for a while. 🌿
