Ten years.
It is extraordinary how much can change in a decade — and how some things never do.
Britt has been gone from our lives for ten years, yet so much of her remains.
In the family she loved so fiercely.
In the friendships she treasured.
In the places she helped create.
In the beauty, warmth and generosity she brought into the world.
And in the many people who are different simply because they knew her.
Those of us who loved Britt have learned that time does not erase someone. It simply changes the way we carry them.
We no longer get to make new memories with her, but we continue to find her in the old ones — and, sometimes unexpectedly, in the lives we are living today.
For our MORE family, Britt will always be part of our story. Not simply because of what she helped build, but because of who she was and how she made people feel.
Ten years later, we remember her with enormous love, gratitude and pride.
