Chasing waterfalls, hidden gems and dusty dirt roads — this is Africa at its most authentic. 🌍
What began as an unexpected journey with Brian and Kenneth quickly unfolded into a memorable overland adventure through some of the region’s most striking landscapes.

Our route started at Witgat, where rugged terrain met sweeping views, setting the tone for the days ahead. From there, we followed scenic mountain roads toward Walfield Lodge, taking time to appreciate the changing vistas and untouched beauty along the way. The day ended at the lookout with well-earned sundowners and a satisfying dinner, surrounded by expansive views and the quiet stillness of the mountains.

The following day delivered a true test of skill and perseverance as the group navigated rough mountain roads down toward Witflag and the surrounding areas. These challenging routes highlighted both the raw nature of the terrain and the reward that comes with exploring roads less travelled.

Our final day was dedicated to discovery around Entabeni near Levubu, including visits to Thate Vondo Dam and several breathtaking viewpoints. Water, mountains and wide-open skies came together to create moments worth slowing down for — reminders of the depth and diversity this region offers.

Thankful for the shared determination, positive energy and adventurous spirit throughout the journey. Experiences like these turn travel companions into lasting friends and create memories that stay long after the dust has settled.
