What a great day for swimming🐘
While we won’t recommend going for a dip in the Chobe River, a tranquil boat cruise will have to do. Sitting comfortably as you glide along the banks there is no limit as to what you might encounter.

With your eyes steadily on the horizon, a figure emerges from the treeline.
From the riverboat, the distance is not too great for you to see a large male elephant advance to the water’s edge. Followed by two more bulls, they have come to drink from the brimming river.
In a matter of minutes, one by one, hundreds of elephants revealed themselves from the thick row of trees in the distance and what was an empty bank.
The Milky Way, a river of stardust, shines majestically in the sky above Ngoma Safari Lodge.
African stories of celestial wanderings, passed down from generations, are shared bringing the constellations to life before your eyes.
From the rhythmic calls of the wild echoing in the distance to the gentle flicker of the campfire nearby, every moment under the starlit canopy is steeped in the essence of Africa.

Here, nature orchestrates a grand gathering of life. Elephants amble along the banks slurping up trunks of water. Buffalo in their thousands kick up a cloud of dust in their haste to cross the floodplain.
