For us, elephants passing through camp is part of everyday life. For many of the Culford students, it was their very first time seeing wild elephants. Watching their excitement and awe reminded us just how special these moments truly are. 🐘🤍

Day 1 with the Culford students! 💚

We were welcomed with open arms by the incredible learners and staff at Main Camp Primary School. It was a day filled with smiles, laughter, learning, dancing, and unforgettable moments shared together.

The students rolled up their sleeves to help paint the classrooms, plant trees around the school grounds, and lend a hand in the vegetable garden. 🌱

A huge thank you to Friends of Hwange for their generous donation of the trees, helping to create a greener future for the school and its learners.

A truly special day, and just the beginning of an amazing week together. 🫶

Something special is happening over the next few weeks. 💚

Over the coming weeks we’ll be preparing Hwange Main Camp Primary School for the arrival of the students from Culford School. Together, with support from our friends at Friends of Hwange, we’ll be cleaning, priming and painting the classrooms to create a brighter, more welcoming space for the children.

We’re looking forward to welcoming the students as they volunteer alongside us and help make a lasting difference.
