Wow....Nyanga has a beach at Rhodes National Park. Only 10 mins from our lodge. If you aren't going to CapeTown or Mombasa, at least make your way to Nyanga National Park.

RUMBLE IN THE MOUNTAINS

Nyanga is a scenic highland town and district in Zimbabwe's Eastern Highlands. It sits at an elevation of roughly 1,680 to 2,000 meters above sea level, offering a cool climate, rolling green hills, pine forests, and dramatic waterfalls Like Mtarazi, Nyamuzihwa and Nyangombe. It is famous for housing Mount Nyangani—the highest peak in the country—and Mutarazi Falls. Also, Nyanga National Park stands out as the oldest in Zimbabwe.

Annual social football tournaments brings together local communities, friends, and colleagues for a day of friendly competition, fitness, and networking. These grassroots events focus on participation, fair play, and fun rather than elite-level pressure. The core Goals of Social Tournaments are to Build community spirit and teamwork, promote active lifestyles and overall wellness as well as to create a relaxed space to meet new people.

On 26 September 2026, Little Swallows Social Soccer Club will celebrate its birth with a tournament at the Horedema Stadium.

Invited Heavyweights: The event will feature top regional and national social football outfits, including Rusape's All Stars, Rusape Legends, Lua's Wattle Legends, Nyanga Legends and Givie Nyabvure's Wolves Mutare. The event will lead to a vibrant final showcase set to be watched by hundreds.

The gathering is being highlighted for using adult social football and former professional players to promote physical wellness, networking, and community mobilisation against substance abuse.

It is with heartfelt condolences we announce that our host Christiangonie Khumvekrah has lost his daughter.

She passed away yesterday morning. I know many of our guests have enjoyed his company and will continue to.

For now he is home with his wife and we pray for a brighter future for the young family.
