YOUR TRANSPORTATION GUIDE IN DUBAI

BUSES

Dubai bus network serves more than 1,500 buses, 17 stations, and more than 2,000 bus stops. They are equipped with air conditioning and informative screens for a comfortable ride. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) public buses cover 87% of urban areas in the city with 119 lines.

METRO

Dubai Metro was launched in 2009, now it has 20 stations on the Green Line and 35 stations on the Red Line. Two main lines will be connected by a new Blue Line with 14 stations, which is planned to start working in 2029.

TRAMS

Dubai Tram is serving areas in New Dubai such as Dubai Marina and Jumeirah Beach Residence. 11 Dubai Tram stations also feature Dubai Marina and Jumeirah Lake Towers stations linking to the Dubai Metro.

WATER TRANSPORT

The options include Dubai Ferry, Dubai Water Bus, Dubai Water Taxi. Your picturesque journey can be made by the traditional boats, Abras.

HOW TO PAY

You will need to buy a Nol card from any Dubai Metro station to travel by bus, metro, or tram. The minimum balance is AED 7.50. It also can be used for parking fees, maritime transport or RTA taxi payments.
