We are pleased to announce the 14th Annual Financial Crime Compliance Conference, taking place on 16 April at the iconic Meydan Hotel, Dubai.

This flagship event brings together industry leaders, compliance professionals, regulators, and financial crime experts to discuss the latest trends, emerging risks, and best practices shaping the future of financial crime compliance.

We are proud to share the successful completion of FERG’s CSR initiative, the distribution of grocery kits at desert camps. What we expected to be a routine day came with unexpected challenges, but with teamwork, commitment, and the right spirit, the initiative was carried out successfully.

A special thanks to Ramesh, Kiran and the 4x4 team for their continuous support and high energy throughout the activity. Heartfelt appreciation to my friends for being part of this initiative and for your enthusiastic involvement.

We are pleased to share that the first session of the FERG Fraud & Risk Subcommittee was successfully held yesterday. The session featured brief yet meaningful discussions on key industry topics, including risk mitigation and internal and external fraud risks faced across the sector. It marked an important starting point for deeper engagement on fraud and risk-related challenges.

Future sessions will evolve into more in-depth discussions, with a strong focus on sharing best practices, strengthening controls, and collectively enhancing the resilience of the industry.

Congratulations to Richard White on being elected as the Head of the Fraud & Risk Subcommittee, and to Krishna M Pillai as the Deputy Head. We look forward to their leadership in driving impactful initiatives ahead.

The first Compliance Subcommittee meeting was convened to deliberate on the planning and ex*****on of the 14th edition of the FERG Compliance Conference. The meeting focused on the overall structure of the conference, proposed themes, panel formats, speaker recommendations, timelines, and key organizational considerations. Members actively shared inputs and recommendations to ensure the conference aligns with regulatory expectations, industry relevance, and FERG’s strategic objectives.

Held a very productive meeting with the CEO of EIF, Mr. Marwan Al Mheiri, together with the FERG HR Subcommittee.
We reviewed key successes achieved in 2025 and outlined strategic action plans for 2026, with a strong focus on capability building and talent development. Looking forward to a continued and strong collaboration with EIF in delivering impactful training programs and further developing our workforce.
