On the 3rd of November each year, UAE celebrates the flag day. This day is a special day in UAE when people celebrate by flying their country’s national flag and holding parades and ceremonies to honour the flag and national heroes. The UAE flag was chosen in 1971 and is made up of green, white, black and red colors. The green stripe represents prosperity, the white stripe represents peace, the black stripe represents power and determination, the red stripe represents courage and sacrifice.
