Farewell to Pearl Hotel & Spa: Celebrating Our Journey
After several years of transforming Pearl Hotel & Spa from a struggling property into a distinguished establishment in Umm Al Quwain, we must now close this chapter.
We put together a dedicated team, together overcoming significant challenges, low occupancy, extensive renovation needs, and a reputation that required rebuilding. Through collective determination, we established the hotel as a preferred destination in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain, hosting numerous celebrations and events and welcoming guests from across the UAE.
Our accomplishments span every department:
- Maintenance team who revitalized systems once deemed beyond repair
- Culinary, service and stewarding staff from Barako Grill Filipino restaurant, Backwaters South Indian Restaurant and Little Bavaria (formerly known as Das Brauhaus) German Restaurant, who made our restaurants sought-after dining destinations in the country.
- Housekeeping professionals whose attention to detail earned guest appreciation
- Skilled spa therapists renowned for their expertise
- Security personnel who ensured a safe environment
- Front office staff and drivers who maintained professionalism under pressure
- Retail store staff who kept those alcohol and food shelves constantly stocked up
We acknowledge those no longer with us, particularly Tanya and Eddie, who passed away in 2024, their contributions remain an important part of our legacy.
This closure stems from factors beyond our control as the property location is included in the Emirate’s redevelopment master plan.
This is in no way a reflection on any of our team member’s performance. The professional competencies developed here will undoubtedly benefit your future endeavors, and the standard of excellence we established will continue through your work elsewhere.
