Dear Friends of Yepton Estate Cottages.
I did not want to add to the anxiety most people feel these days and since there was little good news, we preferred to stay away from Facebook.
We have now been certified by the Antiguan health department to reopen (with Covid-19 protocols that are posted on our website www.yepton.com), which will happen October 1, 2020. We have started accepting bookings for the Fall and Winter.
Many of you know that our cottages are ideal for social distancing, as is our nearby beach. Antiguans are very disciplined in wearing masks and keeping those 6 feet apart when shopping, or going to the bank. Carnival has been cancelled as was sailing week - all good decisions. As a result, we have had very few cases and we feel safe.
If you are confident to fly, we have excellent winter rates.

The sun is shining and there is a tropical breeze on our patio. I was going to send everyone an update on our situation in Antigua but then started thinking about Philton's chocolate fudge rum 😍cake - so I have to make a call now and do what I should have done on the 19th of May (our 25th anniversary) - ORDER one! I was always under the impression that Frigate Birds did not land in Antigua (only in Barbuda)....well, these guys were tired and had a well deserved rest only meters from our cottages.
