Van az a hely Sarandában, ahol nehéz csak egy desszertet választani. 😋

A SOL Cornerben jártunk , és hát… a választék láttán nem lett könnyebb a döntés.

Csokoládé, pisztácia, karamell, gyümölcsök, különleges desszertek 🧁. Egy kis kávé ☕️ mellé, egy délutáni megállóhoz, vagy egyszerűen csak azért, mert megérdemled. 😉

Ha Sarandában jársz, érdemes benézni.

There are places in Saranda where choosing just one dessert is almost impossible. 😋

We stopped by SOL Corner and, well… the selection didn’t make the decision any easier.

Chocolate, pistachio, caramel, fresh fruit and plenty of tempting desserts 🧁. Perfect with a coffee ☕️, for an afternoon break, or simply because you deserve it. 😉

If you’re in Saranda, it’s definitely worth a visit.

Van az a nap, amikor a tenger helyett inkább a hegyek felé indulnál. 🏞️ 🇦🇱

A Langarica-kanyonban egészen más arcát mutatja Albánia. Hatalmas sziklafalak, kristálytiszta víz, természetes termálmedencék és a különleges Kadiu-híd várnak rád.

Egy kis kaland, egy kis felfedezés, aztán jöhet a pihenés a termálvízben. 😊

Ha Sarandában jársz, ezt a kirándulást érdemes feltenni a listádra.

There are days when you want to leave the sea behind and head towards the mountains. 🏞️🇦🇱

Langarica Canyon shows you a completely different side of Albania. Dramatic rock walls, crystal clear water, natural thermal pools and the beautiful Kadiu Bridge make this place truly special.

Van az a naplemente, amikor egyszerűen nem akarod elővenni a telefont. Csak nézed.

A nap lassan eltűnik a tengerben, a hajók sziluetté válnak, a víz pedig minden pillanatban más színt mutat.

És talán pont ezek azok a pillanatok, amiért újra és újra jó visszatérni Sarandába. 🌅💙

There are sunsets when you simply don’t want to reach for your phone. You just watch.

The sun slowly disappears into the sea, the boats turn into silhouettes, and the water changes colour with every moment.

Maybe these are exactly the moments that make you want to come back to Saranda again and again. 🌅💙

Tegnap este a Taverna Erjoniban vacsoráztunk Sarandán.

Egy helyi halétterem, amely 1997 óta működik. Tengeri rizottót, langusztinás-garnélás pastát és hallevest választottunk, mellé természetesen egy pohár fehérbort. 😊

Jó ételek, kellemes terasz, a háttérben pedig Saranda kikötője és az esti fények.

Egy újabb hely Sarandában, amit jó szívvel ajánlunk. ❤️🇦🇱

We spent the evening at Taverna Erjoni in Saranda.

A local fish restaurant that has been here since 1997. We had seafood risotto, langoustine and prawn pasta, and of course a glass of white w**e. 😊

Good food, a lovely terrace, with Saranda harbour and the evening lights in the background.

Another place in Saranda that we are happy to recommend. ❤️🇦🇱

Van egy hely Dél-Albániában, ahol a víz szinte hihetetlen színekben tör elő a föld mélyéről. 💙💚

A hely neve Syri i Kalter, a Kék Szem.

De a kristálytiszta vízhez egy régi legenda is tartozik.

A történet szerint réges-régen egy hatalmas sárkány jelent meg a forrásnál. Olyan nagy volt, mint maga a hegy, és elzárta a falubeliek elől a vizet.

Az emberek megpróbálták elűzni, mert a forrás nélkül az egész környék élete veszélybe került.

Hogy mi történt ezután?

Azt már a legenda meséli tovább… 🐉💙

Mi pedig inkább megmutatjuk, miért érdemes egyszer saját szemeddel látni.

There is a place in southern Albania where crystal clear water rises from deep underground in incredible shades of blue and green. 💙💚

It is called Syri i Kalter, the Blue Eye.

But this magical spring also has an old legend.

According to the story, a huge dragon once appeared at the spring. It was said to be as big as the mountain itself, blocking the villagers from their precious source of water.

The villagers tried to drive the creature away, because without the spring, life in the area was at risk.

What happened next?

That part of the legend is a story of its own… 🐉💙

Ez Borsh. 🌊

Az Albán Riviéra leghosszabb, egybefüggő partszakasza, ahol a hegyek találkoznak a Jón-tengerrel.

Itt nem kell helyet keresned a tömegben. Van tér. Van víz. Van idő.

Kavicsos part, tiszta tenger, napernyők, beach bárok, hegyek a háttérben. És ha tovább sétálsz, egyre több csend.

Ha Sarandából indulnál egy igazi tengerparti napra, Borsh szerintünk kihagyhatatlan. 🇦🇱

This is Borsh. 🌊

The longest continuous beach on the Albanian Riviera, where the mountains meet the Ionian Sea.

You don’t have to fight for space here. There is room. There is water. There is time.

Pebbles, clear sea, beach umbrellas, beach bars and mountains in the background. And the further you walk, the quieter it gets.

If you’re staying in Saranda and looking for a proper beach day, Borsh is definitely worth the trip. 🇦🇱

Van az a pillanat Sarandán, amikor már lement a nap, de az este még csak most kezdődik. 🌴🍸

Egy jó koktél, egy kis zene, a pálmafák, a tengerpart esti fényei, és máris megvan az érzés.

A SOL Corner pont ilyen hely. Egy laza esti megálló, ahol érdemes egy kicsit lelassítani, kortyolni egyet, és csak élvezni Saranda nyári estéjét.

Ha White Donkeyban szállsz meg, ezt az esti programot érdemes felírnod. 😉

There is a moment in Saranda when the sun has gone down, but the evening is just getting started. 🌴🍸

A good cocktail, some music, palm trees, and the lights of the promenade. That is when Saranda really comes alive.

Langarica-kanyon – Kaland a sziklafalak között. 🪨 🥾🎒
Ez a szurdok a Vjosa egyik leglátványosabb mellékfolyója által kivájt, körülbelül 4-5 kilométer hosszú szakasz. A meredek mészkőfalak elképesztően szűkek, helyenként a 150 méteres magasságot is elérik.
Itt a túrázás nem kiépített ösvényeken zajlik, hanem konkrétan a folyómederben gázolva. Nyáron a víz általában boka- és térdig ér, a meder pedig simára kopott, hatalmas görgetegkövekből áll, ami stabil lépteket és odafigyelést igényel. A monumentális sziklák és a beszűrődő fények látványa miatt viszont teljesen megéri a fáradozást.
Egy igazi rejtett kincs a szárazföld belsejében, Përmet mellett, amit Sarandából indulva egy kirándulás alkalmával mindenképpen érdemes felfedezni.

The Langarica Canyon – Adventure between the cliffs. 🪨 🥾🎒
This gorge is a roughly 4-5 kilometer long section carved out by one of the Vjosa's most spectacular tributaries. The steep limestone walls are incredibly narrow, reaching heights of 150 meters in some places.
Hiking here doesn't happen on paved trails; it involves literally wading through the riverbed. In the summer, the water is usually ankle to knee-deep, and the bed consists of smooth, massive boulders that require steady steps and focus. However, the sight of the monumental rocks and the filtering sunlight makes it completely worth the effort.
A true hidden gem in the hinterland near Përmet, and an absolute must-visit during a day trip from Saranda.

Európa utolsó vad folyója a Vjosa.
Mit is jelent ez pontosan? Azt, hogy a Vjosa az egyetlen olyan nagy folyó a kontinensen, amely a forrásától a tengerig teljesen érintetlen. Nincsenek rajta gátak, vízerőművek, vagy mesterséges mederszubályozások – a természet formálja úgy, ahogy neki tetszik.
Görögországban, a Píndosz-hegységben ered (ott Aoos néven), majd Albániába belépve, összesen 272 kilométer megtétele után Vlorától északra ömlik az Adriai-tengerbe.
Hatalmas nemzetközi összefogásnak és szigorú természetvédelmi szabályozásnak köszönhetően ma már Európa első Vad Folyó Nemzeti Parkjaként teljes védelem alatt áll. Egy élő időkapszula a szárazföld belsejében, amit Sarandából indulva, egy észak felé vezető autós túra vagy kirándulás során mindenképpen érdemes útba ejteni.

The Vjosa: Europe's last wild river.
What does this actually mean? It means the Vjosa is the only major river on the continent that remains completely untouched from its source to the sea. There are no dams, power stations, or artificial riverbeds—nature shapes it exactly as it pleases.
It rises in Greece in the Pindus Mountains (known there as the Aoos), enters Albania, and after flowing for a total of 272 kilometers, empties into the Adriatic Sea just north of Vlora.
Thanks to massive international collaboration and strict environmental regulations, it is now fully protected as Europe’s first Wild River National Park. A living time capsule in the hinterland, and an absolute must-see on a day trip heading north from Saranda.

Përmet mellett, a föld mélyéből feltörő, kénes és ásványi anyagokban gazdag geotermikus gyógyvíz egész évben kellemes, 26–30 °C-os hőmérsékletű. A helyszínen kialakított 6-8 kiépített medence tökéletes lehetőséget ad arra, hogy élvezzük a források jótékony hatását.
A medencék felett átívelő, 18. századi oszmán kőhíd (Ura e Kadiut) látványa egészen egyedi hangulatot ad a helynek. Ahogy a langyos vízben pihensz, a háttérben a monumentális sziklák, a fejed felett pedig a történelem magasodik.
Sarandából indulva egy körülbelül 2 órás kirándulással érhető el ez a különleges helyszín.

A perfect day in nature: The Benja Thermal Baths (Banjat e Bënjës). ♨️🩳👙
Located near Përmet, the sulfurous and mineral-rich thermal water rises from deep underground, maintaining a comfortable temperature of 26–30 °C all year round. The 6-8 built pools developed here offer the perfect opportunity to enjoy the benefits of the springs.
The atmosphere is framed by the iconic 18th-century Ottoman stone bridge (Ura e Kadiut) arching right above the area. Soaking in the warm water with the massive cliffs behind you and history overhead is an unforgettable experience.
These thermal springs can be reached from Saranda on a roughly 2-hour day trip.
