Tirana Kryeqyteti Evropian i Rinisë 2022 implementohet nga Kongresi Rinor Kombëtar në bashkëpunim me Bashkinë Tiranë, si një makro program me gamë të gjerë aktivitetesh që kanë në qendër rininë. Tirana është Kryeqyteti Evropian i Rinisë për 2022 - Një titull që jepet nga Forumi Evropian i Rinisë i krijuar për të fuqizuar të rinjtë, për të nxitur pjesëmarrjen e të rinjve dhe për të forcuar identite

Tirana is the European Youth Capital for 2022 - The European Youth Capital is a title given by the European Youth Forum created to empower young people, promote youth participation and strengthen European identity. Tirana EYC 2022 is presented as a macro program that will last 365 days, during which a calendar of projects with numerous initiatives and activities will take place. All activities will cover a wide range of topics and priorities that focus on youth. This macro program will be implemented through 8 Programs, which stand as supporting pillars under the slogan Activate Youth. Tirana EYC 2022 is implemented by the National Youth Congress, in cooperation with the Municipality of Tirana.

Tirana European Youth Capital 2022

Our beautiful and dynamic city has won the title “European Youth Capital 2022”. “ACTIVATE” is our chosen slogan which aims to push our youth become more active in the every day life, participate in decision-making and community life, become drivers of change by taking matters into their own hands. What we want is to to encourage positive activism among our generation so the youth of Tirana and our city’s actors become an example for future generations to follow. Tirana wants to be also a lighthouse city for Albania, guiding other cities to follow our example so we can all thrive together inside the European family. Our EYC 2022 program and activities have been designed by youth of the city and focus on 8 main themes, comprised of several project and activities which will be held throughout the whole title year and with the participation of young peers from allover Albania, Balkans and Europe.
