Mornings began with sunlight slipping through the curtains,
the smell of coffee drifting from the kitchen,
and quiet footsteps of travelers chasing their next adventure.
At Alina Hostel, every corner held a story —
maps with scribbled dreams, books left behind with notes,
laughter echoing through shared rooms late into the night.
We were strangers turned roommates, turned friends.
Conversations flowed across languages,
bonded by curiosity, by warmth, by shared cups of tea.
Alina’s gentle presence — always there,
with a kind word, local tips, and that feeling
that you weren’t just passing through — you belonged.
There were nights of guitar strumming in the courtyard,
improvised dinners made from corner store finds,
and quiet moments, staring out the window,
feeling time slow down just enough to notice.
Leaving wasn’t easy.
