Dilijan is perhaps the greenest and, thanks to the hero of the film “Mimino”, the most famous resort in Armenia. Dilijan is a balneological mountain climatic resort. The city is surrounded on all sides by a national reserve. Every year many tourists from different countries come to Dilijan to enjoy the local beauty, breathe in the fresh and clean mountain air, and walk through the beautiful forest that surrounds the city.

Thanks to this mountainous and forested area, there is almost windless weather, which provides a healing climate throughout the entire calendar year. This is an ideal place to relax not only for those who suffer from diseases of the respiratory system, but also for those who want to break away from the hustle and bustle of noisy big cities and spend a little time in the company of stunning nature, drinking crystal clear water from natural mineral springs.

A holiday in Dilijan would be incomplete without visiting the many attractions located near the city. The most popular of which are the Haghartsin monastery complex, buried among a beech forest, and the Goshavank monastery, where perhaps the most beautiful khachkar in Armenia is located. Lakes Parz and Gosh. Recently, Dilijan has also become the intellectual center of Armenia. The UWC Dilijan Business School has opened in the city, where teenagers from different parts of the world study.
