In 2005, Pablo leaves Buenos Aires to move in with his French girlfriend. From Paris, he witnesses the green building architectural revolution. Iconic buildings are inaugurated throughout Europe, such as the Quai Branly Museum and Bosco Verticale. A few years later – his girlfriend is now his wife –, he comes back to his hometown decided to build a green hotel. But his project is more than just co
vering the building with plants. In 2010, he is persuaded that new constructions need to take the environmental impact into account. His vision allows him rapidly to convince investors. In 2014, Palo Santo opens its doors, attracting travelers from all over the world who appreciate urban life, design, and comfort, and who want the planet to remain beautiful forever.

Nacen edificios icónicos como el Musée du Quai Branly y Bosco Verticale. Unos años después, cuando vuelve a su ciudad natal con la que ahora es su esposa, tiene un proyecto: construir un hotel verde. Pero no quiere que sólo sea verde por fuera, sino que también sea sustentable. Es 2010 y le indigna que todavía se construyan edificios nuevos que no tengan en cuenta el cuidado del medio ambiente. Consigue rápidamente inversores que confían en su visión. Palo Santo is a design and luxury boutique hotel located in Palermo, Buenos Aires. Its modern green architecture features beautiful vertical gardens, great water fountains, large, light-filled, modern and stunningly designed rooms and suites.
GUEST ROOMS
All guest rooms feature the best of contemporary modern style with lustrous materials and natural beauty woven throughout. There are 14 Premium Rooms, 10 Deluxe Rooms, one Terrace Suite and one Palo Santo Suite, all with a minimum of 377 square feet (35 square meters).
All accommodations are elegantly appointed with private landscaped balconies, 32-inch LED televisions, hard wood floors, Paraiso wood furniture, minibar, digital safety box, individual climate control, Nespresso coffee machines (Deluxe rooms and higher), and of course complimentary internet access.
GREEN
With vertical gardens and more than 900 plants covering facades, balconies, patios and the roof as well as several fountains streaming throughout the hotel – the largest being 20 meters high extending from the 6th floor to the lobby – Palo Santo Hotel features a unique green architechture
Palo Santo’s extensive sustainability program covers energy, water, CO2 and O3, insulation, air and operations. The plants are not only aesthetically pleasing, but they achieve an ecological goal by providing natural insulation for the building against climate extremes, helping to insulate the external head and cold, reducing the impact of the wind and absorbing water excess. The hotel reduces its carbon footprint by 80% resulting from these 800 plants providing a source of oxygen and absorbing CO2.
DINING
Palo Santo Hotel offers a buffet breakfast seven days a week including a large selection of sweet and savory options, homemade pastries and breads, fresh fruits, cereals, empanadas, natural fruit juices, ham and cheese and an array of hot dishes prepared to order.
Open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday, Namida offers a contemporary Nikkei cuisine, combining Japanese techniques and dishes with typical ingredients and recipes from the Pacific including some of the best ceviches in town.
The hotel offers selected wines from boutique vineyards and bodegas, and all hotel guests can enjoy a complimentary glass of Malbec during their stay.
