Sierra Brava Dove Hunting Lodge
The history of Sierra Brava Dove Hunting Lodge, originally known as “Posta San Carlos”, dates back to 1874 when it served as a Pony Express ranch. The Posta, or ranch was part of “El Camino Real” that connected current day Peru with Argentina, aka “Virreinato del Rio de la Plata”. The ranch served mainly as a place to eat, rest from a long journey, and exchange tired horses for fresh ones ready to gallop across the country-side on the next leg of the Pony Express route.
Sierra Brava is located in the north of Cordoba, about 1 hour and 10 minutes from the Cordoba airport. Our lodge has ten double occupancy rooms with en-suite luxury bathrooms and air conditioning, putting our lodge capacity at 20 guests. Groups of 10 or more are able to reserve the entire lodge for a private retreat in a tranquil setting with breathtaking lakefront and Sierra Mountain views at affordable rates that no other lodge in Argentina can beat.
